The 2009 Pirelli Calendar seemed to be a lot more elusive than 2010's in that it was practically impossible to find on the online. This is of course the way the Pirelli Calendar is supposed to work. Polish model Marta Gut made one of those decisions that completely baffles the mind. Have a look at the last photo of Marta from about a year or two ago. Not that perfection exists, but isn’t she pretty close to perfect here? Then take a look at the rest of these new photos of Marta and see how her decision of getting a breast job was a stupid one. Humans are ridiculous.
Unlike their South American cousins in Argentina, the Brazilians seem to have a thing for distinct tan lines on their ladies. (The guys down there might be sporting some speedo shaped tan lines for all I know but I’m not going to concern ourselves with that right now.) So with all this sun baking and their high rates of sticking silicone into their bodies, I worry about these Brazilian’s possible short life spans. Mind you, their easy going life style and open attitudes towards sexuality must be great for their immune systems. And if the following pictures of Anne Hamasaki, Cinara Dalva, Jyuliana Bredel, Manuela Lemos, Patricia Sarquis and Priscila Cardoso (most of whom are models who might also dip their toes in the world of “adult” entertainment) depict exactly what happens in a typical Brazilian day, then I’d take fewer days like these than more days of whatever the hell most live with.
Word is that this southern South American country is a bounty with prostitutes who are the soul mates of American politicians. Well, there’s at least one that I’ve heard of. Perhaps, saying “bounty” was being a bit hyperbolic. For that, I apologize. I don’t think I have much more to say about that. So onto the Argentinean crop of models to have recently hit the internets with their nudity and their odd semi-nudity where they feel the need to cover their breasts with nipple-sized tennis balls and bejeweled yarmulkes with tassels. Every once in a while someone will find something they’re good at. A small percentage of those people actually find a way of making money doing it. Then an even smaller percentage of those people; the money making talent they poses is in fact the gift of being naked. Belgian model Eliza Sys looks to be one of those people. The creative photographers who took these two pictorials should also be praised for Eliza’s well presented nudity.
Here’s a great 17 minute look at the making of the 2010 Pirelli Calendar in Brazil featuring its great roster of nude supermodels. It looks to have been originally aired on a television channel in a foreign country that knows showing naked women on TV will not make Jesus hate you. He’s totally into it. (Hey, it’s December so we’re going to try to slip in JC whenever we can.) Photographer Terry Richardson looks like a fun and easy guy to work with. While all the supermodels like Miranda Kerr, Ana Beatriz Barros and Rosie Huntington-Whitely (among many others) also look fun and easy to work with.
